Keyboard shortcut for Read Aloud

I am modifying game consoles for use by disabled / elderly to control the E-book viewer. Last thing I need are keyboard shortcuts for turning the read-aloud on and off. Do they exist?

Look under keyboard shortcuts in the viewer preferences.

I apologize for being clueless ... I looked under Preferences in Calibre Management and don't see the shortcuts for the viewer. When I open the viewer itself I don't see a way to access its preferences. Can you give a bit more guidance on where to look? Thank you.

Is there a keyboard shortcut for stopping the read aloud? I am being clueless again as I only see one, cntl-s, for starting the reading. It does not also stop it.

Edit: Just discovered that esc seems to stop it and leaves the last word highlighted.
