Book Clubs?
Does anyone know of any good online book clubs (forums or Facebook groups) that are quite active? Maybe some that do more than just one selection a month so there is choices?
I welcome all links and recommendations, and will check them out |

Goodreads has many many groups that run BOM selections.

I've seen some but they all seem to focus on just one book a month. I guess I'm looking more for a club that does several books (would have to be a big membership base) and active, as well as general discussions of other books.
Maybe a forum type setup like here? Not sure if it even exists. |

Some of the genre specific forums would probably be the best place to look. Places like SFF World, SFF Chronicles, All About Romance, etc. I know there is an Old School Romance facebook group that was mentioned in the Romance deals/discussion thread.
I ran across this in a Google search, but know nothing about it or its level of activity... http://www.bookclubforum.co.uk/community/ |

Have you thought of a real-life book club? Try asking at your local library, there's usually one going which reads a book a week. If your local library doesn't have one, try your nearest city library.
There are many book forums (just do a google search for book forums) online which discuss books and usually have a book club; I'm sure you'll find one which gives a choice of books, though I can imagine this creates problems for the site: they would have to run several book club threads at the same time; as book people tend to be the 'select few' (most prefer watching tv) there may not be enough members to support several book club threads running at the same time. Worth having a look though. Or, alternatively, join several different book forums and select the book club which is reading the novel you fancy most. |

Found this page. Looks promising. Will check it out later when I have more time. Thought I'd share though in case anyone else was interested.

You simply need to register at a couple of book clubs from Goodreads. The experience is usually stellar, since most people there love books and love to interact with people just as much as you. The possibilities are great.
