Is the eReader output of Calibre ever going to be fixed so it's actually usable? As it is now, it doesn't conform to the Calibre standard of doing a conversion that should look as much like the source as possible given the limitations of the destination format.

You're the only person who thinks it's not usable. If you don't like how the output looks you're more then welcome to submit patches to change the behaviour. Unless you want to do the work I'm not going to support and maintian multiple formattings for PML.
