But the next question is: When will there be anything available in the delivery service and how do we configure what we want on our iLiads? Hernycat told us about having read thes Belgian newspaper. How did he do that? I would be really interested in trying the newspaper reader...

There are several evaluation projects going on right now: iRex mentions some of them on their web.

There's also a project called DigiNews (Philips leads this, it seems -- under the ITEA umbrella), and which looks at e-paper as future news medium.
(http://www.hitech-projects.com/euprojects/diginews/ -- not as informative as one would wish, though). I thought DigiNews was scheduled to be over by now -- no final reports anywhere?

There are also some tests outside DigiNews in which iRex products are involved: I believe there's going to be a short test in Sweden in September, for instance.

To see what's going on, you probably have to be involved with DigiNews and related projects: say, visiting the conferences where the results are presented, etc. Unless you manage to get on the testing panel for De Tijd or Sundsvalls-Tidningen, of course :-)

I work just beside one of my local papers, I think I'm going to show them the device and say "wouldn't you just love to use these to get to your clients?" in a winsome voice...

It would be nice if they could offer access to one sample issue using the IDS. So we could all see how good it works...
