PDF on Sony PRS-505

I am relatively new to eBook formats and am puzzled by the number of issues people seem to have with PDF downloads. On downloading the few that I have done, viewing the download with either Adobe Digital Editions or Sony's E Book Library, the PDF download looks fine with page format and numbering OK.

Am I missing something?

You may be looking at old posts, billbirchall -- the PRS505 only recently added PDF re-flow to its bag of tricks. Before that, it was stuck with scaling the PDF "page size" down to the 505's 6" screen. That's no big deal if the "page size" is close to 6" diagonal, but if it's sized for Letter/A4 paper (~14" diagonal) then it looks pretty tiny when shrunk to less than half it's original size.

Thanks for the reply. That is the danger of a 'newbie' reading the forum messages, without realising the history of the issue.

Heh, yeah, it happens sometimes.

Did that address your question, then?
