German Publishers Planning to Sue Thousands of File-sharers
From techdirt there is a brief article with links to more details on this. Just thought it was relevant considering how open the publishers in Germany were beginning to appear based on the txtr interview. I doubt very much that they are wising up as much as appeared:

When will they learn? This didn't work for the RIAA/MPAA and all the rest. The file-sharing culture has been proven to increase demand and sales for a work rather than decrease them.

It'll fail miserably, if it even gets that far. They'll just attract more people to file-sharing as all the other hopeless dinosaur companies did in the past. As long as they insist on living in the past, then they're never going to understand the present.
