You do have to click on the banner ad to enable the offer and I don't often visit the main Kindle page that has it.

So not Irish Customers, who have to use Amazon UK by default (though Irish customers can have USA digital prices, though geo-limits are UK).
Also Guernsey, Jersey, Gibraltar, and Isle of Man are not in the UK, but Northern Ireland is. Great Britain never ever included Ireland before 1922, Nor Northern Ireland ever, nor IoM nor Channel Is, but illogically does include Shetland Islands, Orkney Islands, and Western Isles.

Not seen this strangeness on Amazon UK before.

Has someone in Amazon made a mistake?

Something odd is happening. I got my £5 kindle ebook credit email, but the next book I bought didn't have any money off. I'll be chatting with support later today.

Amazon support could see that I have been given £5 ebook credit, but it didn't apply when it should, and it still doesn't seem to want to apply itself to ebook purchases, so they refunded me £5 instead.

So I got three books, which I'm counting as 2 at £3.99->£2.13 and 1 at £2.77->£1.49 (Applying the £5 discount proportionally to their prices).

A good deal! I've been waiting for those books to go on offer for 6-8 years!
