Pocket903 - Only shows 1 GB in Windows Explorer?
The specifications say the 903 has 2 GB memory.
When I look at the 903 in Windows 7 explorer it shows as a hard disk with 762 MB free of 952 MB. In Disk Management it shows as Pocket903 Simple Basic FAT32 955 MB. I know nothing of Linux but I installed a copy onto a spare computer and logged on as root and hooked up the 903. I looked at the 903 with a file manager called Dolphin and couldn't find how to display the total disk size, all I got was tool-tip saying 763.0 MiB free. Does anyone know where the missing 1GB is? (or have I got to start learning about Linux). Thanks for any info. |

the second GB is used for a system partition that we don't have access to. Beside others, dictionary files and tts files are stored there. Maybe this thread helps even if it is in German: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=109135 |
