UK software version number?
I've just installed the sony ebook software for my new PRS505 here in the UK.
After the successful installation I clicked the "check for updates" button, with a response that none was available. I noted that the software was at version 2.3.xxxx, but I was looking at the US sony site which has version 2.5.xxx as the latest version. Yes, they are country-specific. There are separate UK English, US English, French, and German firmware versions. They all have the same functionality - eg the only difference between the US and UK firmware is the format in which dates are displayed.
