AvantGo through iLiad?

Further prospective-iLiad-owner research

My local daily newspaper is available through AvantGo.

Does anyone currently access an AvantGo subsription through their iLiad? How succesfully? What steps do you go through each time you want to access new content? What need to be done to the iLiad in order to get AvantGo content onto it?

Don't need to full gory details at present - just idea of if this works, and if it does, a rough idea of the amount of effort required to get it to work.

Have you tried it through their Blackberry interface?

First though you must subscribe to AvantGo channels.

I would think that if avantgo thought there was an appropriate "customer" base - they may be willing to do the heavy lifting to get it ported.

To do it yourself, you would somehow have to fool avantgo's server/client system that the data should flow into the iliad.
