Troubleshooting Kindle Voyage Struck at low battery screen

Hi, I have a kindle voyage; it was working fine till last week, and i forgot to charge it; now its just showing low battery indicator on the screen, wont start, only light on the screen blinks. Tried with several chargers and cables no luck so far. Also tried resetting the device by pressing power button for 40 seconds, but no use.
At the bottom of the screen the orange light is stable when i plug in the charger. It blinks 5 times if i try to reset it, and everytime if i just press the power button it turn green for a second. While on the charging the light on the screen blinks. Please suggest way forward.

P.S. Its a JB device

Did you leave it plugged in to a wall socket for 6 or more hours?

Sometimes plugging the device into the USB port of a computer which is on will trick it into waking up, at least enough for it to begin to charge.
I'll generally first do a reboot and then immediately plug it in when I'm working on one showing the dead battery. To reboot, press and hold power a full 40 seconds with it unplugged.

yes did everything...even left for charging more than 24hrs...still struck there. Amazon aint supporting for repairs.

Could it be jail breaking that caused some issue? How can this be fixed?

Sometimes WALL charger gives a better charge than computer charging. Did you leave it for 24+ hours on a *wall* charger?

Yes, its more than 24hrs with a wall charger, Still showing the orange light!! and Light on screen keeps on blinking.

Nothing has worked so far; have put on charging for more than 3 days still struck there, neither am able to find a replacement battery online.

As far as I know the charging led is controlled by SW, so it will show orange until you fix your unit.

Check if when connected to a PC the internal storage is shown (it may be shown and dissapear after a short while).
If so, copy an emtpy file called DO_FACTORY_RESTORE to the root of the internal storage. This will cause the device to revert to Factory defaults (you will loose your JB and will have to transfer your books again).

I was able to recover a Voyage that was blocked on a boot loop this way (but at least there was some changes on display on mine).

If internal storage is not shown, your only solution is to connect to the serial console to check what the device is complying about.
Anyway you may need to open your device to check the battery voltage with a voltmeter.

I was unable to find replacement batteries for the Voyage, but there is a seller that sells the complete LCD, including the battery, for around $40. I think it was called macbook-repair or something like that.

Nope not working...hvnt tried that serial port although..but am sure its regarding the battery of the unit.
