To all new K2 owners
If you've not had a Kindle before, did you know?
You can go here, and download the Kindle Users Guide, and find lots of other information about your new device. If you read everything, you'll be a pro on your Kindle before you know it. Links are provided for the K1 also. http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/custom...deId=200127470 Enjoy! |

When you click the first link to the k2 pdf, it brings you to another page that gives you the option for k1 or k2.

If you run Firefox, misspelled words are underline and you can correct them.

@StanDaMan -Thank you!
And... I wasn't saying/relating to anything already loaded on the kindle. It's just you'd think amazon would have chosen a different format - say .doc, .prc, .txt - any number of those that are also easily accessible, and not one they definitely don't support on the device in question. Anyway, what with the other comments, it's not really funny anymore. Sad. |

You might think that, but I wouldn't. PDF is the best choice for that purpose (computer viewing and/or printing of a formatted document -- across various platforms). TXT would lose all formatting, while other choices require desktop software that is less universal than are PDF viewers.
