Calibre won't communicate with Kindle
When attempting to send a book to Kindle this error message comes up:
calibre, version 0.8.64 ERROR: Error: Error communicating with device The reader has no storage card in this slot. Traceback (most recent call last): File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\device.py", line 83, in run File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\device.py", line 478, in _upload_books File "site-packages\calibre\devices\usbms\driver.py", line 256, in upload_books File "site-packages\calibre\devices\usbms\device.py", line 979, in _sanity_check ValueError: The reader has no storage card in this slot. I've tried these things:
1. Plugging the kindle into other USB ports - I get the same message 2. Tried a different USB to Kindle cord 3. Tried downloading to a different Kindle 4. Updated Calibre version 5. Uninstalled Calibre and reinstalled it 6. Right click the send to device button and then reset the default send to device action to be "Send to main memory"
