Classic Coverflow Error in Nookdevs Mylibrary??

Hi!

I have a problem using coverflow. I don't know if anyone have seen this. I have searched everywhere but not found anything.

I have many books & manga on my nook. Yesterday i've seen all covers on cover flow, but now many of those covers appears as grey with the text "No cover".

I have kill mylibrary process, i have sleep my nook and even turn off and then turn on my nook, but nothing. The covers does not appears.

Any ideas?

Have you done a "refresh" on your books yet? Try refreshing your local books.

I fixed this problem for myself by locking wifi on using the wifi locker and going into the nooklibrary app and refreshing from B&N source in the app.

It is important you have an open connection to get the cover art reliably, at least for me and the old version of nooklibrary I am running (0.9). I have had similar issues with the B&N library as well so it is not unique to the nookdevs code.

I detected that if you pass the covers very fast, suddenly the covers stop appearing and appears a "No Cover Available icon" instead.

If you return and pass the covers more slowly, it start showing them.

Maybe it doesn't procees very fast the images to show?

Anyway that's the issue.

I have found that this feature is really buggy and will show covers sometimes and then not show them next time. Slow or fast works one time and then not the next time. Covers that were there going one way are gone going back, then back again, then gone again. Often, I will zip forward and jump from page 45 to page 100 in one page jump.

I have assumed that this is the best we can get for a free app. At least the fast forward works. Even with only some of the covers showing, I can get where I want to go very rapidly.

Did you check the file sizes? Perhaps the images are just to large.
