Text selection on touchscreen displays

Hello,
Is there a way to select text on touchscreen via Microsoft Edge browser?
Or can this be a feature request if not?

I found it works fine on Firefox. I just have another question. Is there a feature for selecting text whilst in read aloud mode?

No, you would nead to stop read aloud, do your selection and then resume. In read aloud you can click on any word to get read aloud to read from there.
