Amazon/Comixology has a huge lot of the Marvel Masterworks series on sale for $1.99 (a lot of volume 1s are $.99). This is a great chance to collect a ton of classic marvel stuff.
There are too many to list here, but this link is the search in comics, sorted by price. The sale ends 1/3/22. https://smile.amazon.com/s?k=masterw...35&ref=sr_pg_1 |

If you're Canadian, I'd go with Comixology for the sale. Things get weird when you have a Canadian account and you try to buy US Kindle stuff.

I think I'm going to pick up the old Atlas Era Masterworks when Marvel was aping EC's horror comics.
Menace Journey Into Mystery Tales to Astonish Tales of Suspense Strange Tales Battlefield I wish the Larry Leiber Rawhide Kid issues were available. I don't think those have even been digitized yet though. |

I adore the Asterix comics, from back in my middle-school days, when my French teacher assigned some of them to us, to learn vocabulary. He also encouraged us to try to figure out the puns and jokes, some of which are very French, and were hard to suss out, but hilarious once (if) we figured them out. The English translations are really fun too, and the translators (mostly Anthea Bell and Derek Hockridge) did an amazing job IMO of translating what they could and maintaining the spirit when they couldn't. Now two omnibuses of Asterix comics in English are on sale at Kindle US, one for $0.99 and one for $1.99.

Thank you! Haven’t read Asterix in like 50 years, so this is a perfect opportunity to re-connect.

YW! Me too, I've just started rereading them after several decades myself. Although I did drag my husband and son to Parc Asterix, just north of Paris, several times over various European vacations. Wonderfully done theme park, IMO, much better than Disney if you like the Asterix series...
The omnibuses seem fairly new, so I have hopes more will go on sale in the future! |

Oddly, they haven’t migrated to my Comixology account even though I bought them about 24 hours ago. Usually they show up in both places within an hour.

I already have the Charley's War volumes and don't care much about Dredd and the spin-offs. But there's still a lot of groovy stuff in there. I've been looking at those Hugo Pratt books for a long time. By the way, the 2000 AD/Rebellion store is very nice. They sell DRM-free CBZs and ePubs. Nice place to shop. |

This bundle is mostly games, but a fair amount of comics and other stuff too. And all the proceeds go to relief in Ukraine. |
