Looking at the comments that people left a lot of them like either their Palm, a laptop, a cellphone, and a computer to read their books. Many of them have never seen an e-ink device so they make comments that they felt were educated, but in reality they have no idea, which is too bad.

One thing I think the Kindle has done is that it definitely brought awareness of e-ink and ebooks to the general masses. There are articles being written from sources I didn't think really cared about such specialized tools. As I'm always saying, only good things will happen now that Kindle is out...unless, of course DRM becomes the rule because of it.
