It looks like JSWolf was right. Blue back only. Really happy to see the off/on switch on the back instead of on the bottom (I kind of thought that might be the case because the Ocean Blue cover only had one notch). And a $10 jump in price is not bad for all the new features. Looks like "BadE" got the ComfortGaze feature wrong (why am I not surprised?). And it appears the CPU has stayed the same. I guess the gurus will have to figure out if it's using a microSD card inside.

Where it should be. To me that's one of the best new features in the 2E.

Slightly taller, slightly narrower and a bit thicker than the HD. And slightly heavier (5 grams). So, basically, if you like the feel and shape of the Clara HD (I do) you'll like this one as well.

2E -- 112.05 x 159.02 x 8.66 mm
HD -- 110 x 159.6 x 8.35 mm

The 2E is wider and less tall but thicker.

No 32GB version, though. So all in all, I go for the Libra 2 and keep my Clara HD.

I suppose that the ´E´ stands for ´environmental´ as a kind of Kobo greenwashing attempt. Well every small recycling bit will help I guess.

Our newest packaging is magnet-free and made with FSC-certified recycled paper.
This part I do not understand: magnet-free?

Then why just "Libra 2" and not "Libra 2e"?
No, given the surrounded "ECO" mentioning, the 'E' is definitely meant for just that.

None of the packaging of my previous Kobo purchases did ever had a magnet. So I guess it is just marketing talk, similar to: "Our new mineral water is sugar-free!"

Yes, disposable box of something from Tesco Ireland was taped shut at side and bottom, but also the lid had a flap with two magnets. Crazy.

P.S. You can edit that sig your app appends. We don't need to know that you use an iPhone or Tapatalk. In settings.
