So start a new series indeed, but you'll not be able to finish it!!!! Guessing it's not Amazon and that something has happened higher up the foodchain as this title is no longer listed in this offer, but still annoying nonetheless! |

That is indeed weird. My guess is that its some dispute about which publisher owns the ebook rights.

John Scalzi's sequel to The Collapsing Empire, The Consuming Fire is coming out in the UK in October.
The Kindle edition of the paperback is available for pre-order, currently at £3.79 If you pre-order you get it for the lowest price it's available at between now and its release. (NB There is a Kindle edition of the hardback, which releases two days before the paperback, but it's over £9!) |

America City isn't even available in the US Amazon except as Hard Cover. Gonna have to wait on this one! Sounds interesting though.

So for fun, I went browsing on kobo UK. Pretty much all of Eddings' stuff is on there (not sure if I saw The Redemption of Althalus or not) except The Malloreon. There are audiobooks available of The Malloreon, but the ebooks are gone. Weird. Last edited by ottdmk; 05-24-2018 at 10:15 AM. |

99-Cent Sales on Thrilling Space Opera you Won't Want to Miss!
Destroyer (Book 1) US Deal Only Mankind’s outer colonies are disappearing. Without warning. Without a trace. Fleet command chalks the attacks up to pirates, but Captain Dryker of the UFC Johnston isn’t buying it. Defying command, he leads his misfit crew into hostile territory in search of answers. They encounter the mythical Void Wraith, an unstoppable legend whispered by the first race. After 26,000 years the Void Wraith have returned to begin the next Eradication. Their technology is superior, their motives unclear. Humanity cannot stop them. Not without help. Captain Dryker’s only hope is to forge an alliance with mankind’s greatest enemy, the savage Tigris. “It’s like Battlestar Galactica and Mass Effect had a baby, and that baby was raised by Starcraft. I read this book in one sitting, and immediately looked for the next.”- The author’s totally biased friend about Book 1. 99-Cents for a Limited Time! An array of forces seek to stop the Intrepid—no matter the cost, or lives lost. From competing corporations, to stellar eco-terrorists, no one wants the Intrepid to arrive at New Eden. Through their journey, the crew of the Intrepid will face rival stellar governments, civil war, and the most wanted serial killer known to the galaxy. Pivoting their role from colonists to saviors. To amplify on the previous post (links are missing): Intrepid (The Void Wraith Saga book 1) at Amazon for $0.99
Or, you can get the whole series of six books for a reasonable price of $9.94 here. Based on reviews, this does appear to be highly derivative, but then again, some very good literature is such (even fanfic can be stellar), but this series probably isn't. That doesn't mean that this is not a fun read, though, and I am picking it up. As they say, YMMV. |
