Downloaded b14... hadn't got a beta in a while since I heard about the OS x launching issues. However, b14 starts fine on my Leopard machine.

THose were caused by a couple of regressions as a result of my efforts to optimize database sorting times. They should all be fixed now.

Cool. Is it much bigger now than b9 was? It seemed to take a bit more time to download. Or, maybe it was just my imagination.

In fetching metadata, reeived following error message. (using b14, Mac OS x 10.5)

argument 1 of QLineEdit.setText() has an invalid type

Hey, I just tried to set up the beta - everything looks alright except I get this error downloading news.

nevermind, it was a setup issue. i removed the .config/calibre and everything works now

It's a regression. Keep your reader disconnected when downloading news and transfer manually until the next release.

wait, no. it seems I can fetch news when the reader is unplugged without problem, but, I get the above error when the device is plugged in.

B14 installed as new install

Tried to save a book to disk on my PRS-500...got the following error:

list index out of range
