Problem with epub comics
I have a problem with my Clara HD, I have comics in epub format (I also have a copy of them in kepub obtained with kepubify) CALIBRE can read them without problems, but the Kobo shows me the images in the upper left and smaller and for comics in epub the pages take a long time to load (in kepub it is fast to turn the page, but the problem of small images still remains)

The short answer is that the code in the epub is probably saying to put the image there. It could be there is an error somewhere and that the calibre viewer is more forgiving than either of the renderers are on the device. And it definitely is more forgiving than the RMSDK used for epub.

To really say, we need to see an example of the code. If they come from somewhere we can freely download, then post a link. Otherwise, post a sample of the code and the stylesheet.

A possible solution to your problem is to forget ePub and convert the comics to CBZ. Kobo can handle CBZ.

KePub is not going to work better. The code in he Kindle comic is specific code to the Kindle and converting it is not going to work. You would have to dump all that code and create new code for each image.

I just had a look at Calibre and it doesn't convert to CBZ. Use the KindleUnpack plugin to extrack the code and then check the image filenames. If they are .jpeg, renames them to .jpg (I don't know fi Kobo likes .jpeg for CBZ). if they are not in alphabetical order, renames them so they are and then zip them and rename with a .cbz extension.

I believe that a CBZ or CBR is simply a renamed Zip or RST file of nothing more than the image files; no CSS; no markup; just images.
