Is anyone here a member of Audiobooks.com? If so, how do you like it?

I signed up for the free trial, pick one audiobook, and then 2 from their special selection. Every month you get one audiobook plus one from the special selection, for $15. So two books for $15, which seems like a great deal. That's only if you can find something you like in the collection of the month. I had a hard time finding 2 from the current offering.

So I am wondering if anyone has a subscription, how long they've had it, and if they like the monthly collection choices.

Update, when the new month rolled around and I could examine the new selection of books, I couldn't find a single thing I wanted. Cancelled immediately.

Well isn't this special. I looked at my library. Instead of 3 titles, there is only 1. The two from the "special collection" that I added to my library are no longer in my library. Seems like false advertising, there was no indication that those were not mine to keep.

I need to find out if there is some work around to download a copy of the one title to my PC to back it up.

You can copy the file from your device to your PC. I had just been asking about this a couple of weeks ago when I didn't want to be limited to using the app. See this post.

This is very helpful, but I don't see how to download it to my phone! Do you know how? Their FAQ are extremely unhelpful.

Ok, it claims to be download but it's not in there! *It shows in the phone but not on the connected computer

Erggg. Somehow I made it work. It involved up loading to Google Drive, then "open with" Cloud FLAC, Mp3, AAC player (which I never heard of, but the mp3 wouldn't download or play from Drive). Once it was loaded into the Cloud player, there was a button at the bottom that said download this file. I clicked, it downloaded, and it plays! Finally!
