My main concern with the 505 is the ability to read ePubs and the 1.1.xxx update seems to handle that fine. Though it is interesting that a newer version was available overseas. I wonder what was different?

EDIT: It looks like you used to be able to download your version at this site...

They even had 1.3.00xxxx and 1.4.00xxx versions available (I think the 1.3xxx for France). The only download link that currently seems to work is for the firmware I already have.

If it's okay to do that here, I'll just post a link to my folder that has updates for PRS-505, PRS-350, PRS-650, PRS-950, PRS-T1 and PRS-T2. I assume these are all North American updates — I think they're the newest versions available for North America, but I'm not positive about that. (For some reason I also have the PRS-505 zipped?)
