one click to switch to previous app

Is there any way to switch to the previous app in one click/touch ?

Ideally the Navigation Ball would have an icon/action to do that ? provided also that there is a way to make the buttons of the navigation ball to always be shown ...

The use case scenario (to understand my need better) is when doing research in the browser, or reading a book/doc and wanting to quickly switch to notes to jot down something and then again quickly switch to the browser/reader app.

I have tried a various of apps like Floating Button, Button Savior, etc but none provide a functioning "Switch to previous app" ...

Thanks!

Closest thing, two actions, would be to enable gestures which would let you swipe up from an edge to show the recent apps list and then touch to select the desired app.

The Notes app is showed in the recent apps, however it's not shown as an app in the App list of most floating button apps so it cannot be setup as such. It seems it's bc it's setup as a System app.

Yes, thanks; or setup a floating button to show the recent apps. Either way it's two actions not one.
