Kindle damage or not?

I recently dropped my kindle paperwhite 2nd generation. All off the outside looks fine, it functions correctly, but is it possible something is destroyed inside and what on the inside is easily breakable. The kindle was in a case at the time of drop.

If it isn't doing anything weird, it probably isn't broken.

That's what cases are for .

The part most likely to be damaged in a drop is the screen (the bottom layer is glass). If the screen is OK, you're probably fine. If there is a tiny crack on the inside of the screen somewhere, it could develop into a large crack over time.

Mostly likely your screen is just fine. My Kindle falls off my bed onto a hardwood floor several times a month, and it hasn't broken yet. I keep mine in the Amazon cover.
