Are people really worried about being suspended by KoboBooks? I suspect they are simply doing that to show publishers that they are not in violation of the terms of their contract (in regards to geographic restrictions). If a company really wants to stop this from happening all they have to do is enforce that all sales must be tied into the address registered with the credit card. This restriction seems to have been lifted in regards to purchasing ebooks from many companies.

For Kobo if you have a registered credit card then you will "see" the version of the website that is associated with that card. Canadian card=Canadian Kobo.
