How to separate paragraphs and headings in Book View

What is the correct or preferred way of separating text paragraphs and headings in Book View? Suppose I type this from scratch in Book View, with corresponding styles:

Heading 1
This is the first Normal text paragraph of section Heading 1.
This is the second Normal text paragraph of section Heading 1.
Heading 2
This is the first Normal text paragraph of section Heading 2.
This is the second Normal text paragraph of section Heading 2.

In the above example, there are no blank lines between the first heading, paragraphs of the first heading, the second heading, etc. Is this the correct way of typing text? What about the following?

Heading 1
[blank line]
This is the first Normal text paragraph of section Heading 1.
[blank line]
This is the second Normal text paragraph of section Heading 1.
[blank line]
Heading 2
[blank line]
This is the first Normal text paragraph of section Heading 2.
[blank line]
This is the second Normal text paragraph of section Heading 2.

Should the space between various parts be controlled from the sylesheet rather than by inserting blank lines?

If you use the Style sheet and you change your mind. You fix it in one place

as theducks says , Stylesheet makes it tidier and more efficient if any future changes are needed.....
