Free (nook/Kindle/Kobo/DRM-free) 3 stories from Tor.com [Award-Nom Sci-Fi & Fantasy]

Well, it's awards season time again, and accordingly, Tor.com are making some of their eligible nominated online stories available in convenient portable e-book format, free courtesy of publisher Macmillan's Tor Books imprint.

This time around, it looks like there's two fantasy things (one with a possible horror-ish edge, and the other semi-historical), and a futuristic sfnal piece set in modern-ish New York-equivalent with some mystery/suspense elements.

These haven't quite dropped to free in all the stores and regions yet, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time.

"Sleep Walking Now and Then", by Richard Bowes, is a weird, futuristic novelette about an interactive theater production in The Big Arena (aka New York City) and the mystery surrounding its inspiration.

Thanks for this. Kobo are annoying in their geographic restrictions: not available in the UK. Thank you B&N however!

These are now all free @ iTunes as well (linkage edited into the OP), and seem to be available in many places worldwide when I spot-checked the UK and Denmark and Japan stores (but not in Iceland or South Africa, which don't even have the listings).

So in case anyone's been having geographical availability issues (still not free at Amazon UK when I checked just now) and has a working iTunes install, you should be able to grab the DRM-free ePubs from them (as long as you're not in Iceland or South Africa, I guess).
