Audible Standard Plan
When I went to cancel Audible after my promo runs out, I was offered something I hadn't seen before: Audible Standard at $10/mo for 1 credit/mo. Credits do not roll over, you're not eligible for member sales, and you can't pause membership. Apparently you can download books, though.

I did not opt for this plan; Audible also offered me three months of Premium Plus for half price, and I chose that.

I just saw this on the site. $10/month for one book and the books go poof! once you stop paying. Uh, no.

I just canceled my two promo memberships, at US and UK, and they didn't offer me a sufficient incentive to re-up.

I'm assuming the books can be downloaded to a computer, which would mean the files can be converted and kept. I hope someone tries it and reports back.

Both Audible US and Audible UK offered me three months at half-price, and I accepted both. Library has become essentially useless now, so I'm stuck with Audible.
