I wrote the following paragraph as part of a post:

Now, to take this post off topic:

I wonder how people discovered which items, when combined, became edible food stuffs that are better than the individual components? For example, how did people determine that combining wheat and water would result in bread? Were there several failed attempts before discovering a successful combination? As an example, did they try chopped leaves and water first?

Though I found most of the 2014 Godzilla movie to be rather dull, I found myself cheering at the start of this scene:

Honestly, given how modern American adaptations prefer to make things seem more "realistic"... Regardless of how unrealistic the subject matter is to begin with... I was worried that the G-man wouldn't be allowed to use his trademark atomic breath in this movie.

With all of the remakes of movies that we've recently seen, could we see a wave of remakes of the worst movies in history? Imagine Plan Nine From Outer Space remade in an edgy manner for a modern audience. Santa Claus Conquers The Martians remade with a militaristic Santa Claus so the movie accurately reflects its name. Can't Stop The Music (which originally starred The Village People) as a sci-fi movie featuring aliens who attack Earth with a never-ending playlist of the worst music ever recorded.
