Those who missed the Woot sale on the PE might want to tune in FREQUENTLY today! A Woot Off is when they sell out of things they didn't sell out of before.

They didn't sell out of the Pocket eDGe. I don't know if they'd put it up again so soon, but they might.

Are woot-offs always things they've sold before, or do they sometimes toss in an item they got in small quantities but haven't wooted yet?

Yes, the link is correct. And I believe Woot Offs include other "fillers" that have not had their own Woot day, but all real products are leftovers from not being sold out, so they go pretty quickly. They also have things like the "Woot light" (the siren light used on the site), the Woot monkey, and most famously, the Bag of Crap.
The bag typically sells for $1 and it's a grab bag. It's always worth far more, and it looks like a regular paper bag, but they usually throw in one or two flat screen TVs or other things -- it's sort of like lotto, except everyone who gets it wins something.
You can click on Discussion to see what is being sold now, then at the top, click on Woots> to see all the things sold recently -- the Pocket eDGe hasn't shown up as of 9am Pacific Daylight Time. Right now it's stuck on an over-priced refurbished HP laptop.

Never saw the PEs show back up. Had to stop watching when I left work this afternoon, and never made it back. *shuffles off to see if the yellow lights are still flashing*
