How about a third for Frederica? I know, everyone here shies away from "romance", but really, it's a fun book and quite witty. And misdirection it certainly is.

Worth a look, Dazrin. I know King County has both, because I'm on the wait list for Dog Gone It and checked -- Frederica doesn't even have a wait list. I already own it, however, from one of the big Heyer discount binges. Frederica is also KU, so you should be able to find a way.

It's a shame you were late, orlok, that would have been an interesting one to add to the list. From the high number of 1s and 5s on the Amazon ratings it seems to be a book that people either love or hate, which might have made for some interesting discussion.

Kingsley Amis was undoubtedly something of a swine. But he could write, that's for sure.

I listened to one of the nominated books, What Was She Thinking? by Zoe Heller. What a weird little book!

It was going along so nicely, and then, BAM! It just ended. If not for the final credits, I would have thought the last part hadn't downloaded. I wanted more of a resolution.
