Marsh, Richard: Marvels and Mysteries. v1. 04 Jun 2021

Hailed by some fans as the Stephen King of the early twentieth century, Richard Marsh produced a prodigious body of work in the horror, mystery, and supernatural genres before turning to action-adventure later in life. The collection Between the Dark and the Daylight brings together some of Marsh’s best work, ranging from mysteries to romances to gothic terror. (—WorldCat).

Uncanny people and bizarre encounters, strange crimes and mysterious murders — stories of suspense and of the occult, with some occasional light touches of humor.

==========
Richard Marsh (12 October 1857 – 9 August 1915) was the pseudonym of the English author born Richard Bernard Heldmann. One of the most popular and prolific authors of the late-Victorian and Edwardian periods, he is best known now for his supernatural thriller novel The Beetle. Marsh produced nearly 80 volumes of fiction and numerous short stories, in genres including horror, crime, romance and humor.
