Conversion creates lots of line breaks

I have searched and searched about this issue and I may just be searching the wrong words but what dose it mean when I go to convert a book (mostly from PDF to EPUB, I know the PDF can be kinda tricky) and it looks like this:

I hope I am not re posting, but I am just mainly looking for the term of this issue with the spacing as I have not been able to find anything. Just makes it annoying to read when the sentences are not together like in this book:

Reduce your unwrap factor a small amount

Lol. Well I'm happy that that fixed the issue. Now I can read with all the text in their proper paragraphs
