truncation problem converting mobi book to epub

I would like to use my iBook reader for a Mobi book. However when I use calibre conversion, the initial lines of some sections are getting truncated. It is an Indian cook book and it appears to only affect sections with recipe information.

I am attaching a couple of screen captures to illustrate what I mean.

I would appreciate any guidance - anyone has to offer.

Thanks - Joe

Disable the Remove fake margins option under Look & Feel in the conversion dialog.
