New Mac ads
Have you seen them?
Video 1 Video 2 Video 3 This looks like a shift from what Apple has been doing until now. Apple ads have always been about highlighting the simplicity of use and the "aura of magic" that you experience when using a mac. These ads, to me, they read in a couple of possible ways:
Not very clever of Apple I would say. Thoughts? |

Funny thing is that I got Google pop-up ads when I watched them.

Apparently the IQ of an Apple user is now approaching 0 and the IQ of Apple's marketing staff is way below that.

That's just sad. Reminiscent of the first time Jobs left Apple. Too bad for them that this time they can't bring him back.

Well .... if you go past how stupid the users are portrayed, they are probably trying to play up the fact that they have stores stocked with really helpful "geniuses". So that if you are a *really* new user, they can help.
But yeah .... the kindergartener who stomped his classmate by making a full color presentation instead of just a picture .... Now THAT was a classic ad! |
