Disable Bottom Buttons?

Is there a script/program that can disable the bottom buttons,
When taking notes it find it difficult not to press the news/books/docs/notes
buttons on the bottom.
I then get kicked out of the notes and into something else, then it takes 20-40 seconds to get back where I was, by then I have lost everything that I was trying to take notes on.

Maybe a script or program to disable/enable the buttons prior to entering a note?

Any Ideas?

Why don´t you use the lock funtion with the stylus? This locks all the buttons of the Iliad and you can write without pushing the buttons.

Now i wish you could disable all but the bottom buttons, or even all but the flipbar.
