quick question on USB wall charger

sorry for the possibly sily question, but I am deeply ignorant of these isseus and don't want to risk frying my reader: would a charger with the following characteristic be ok for the PB903 (I find the last one a bit puzzling - did not know phone could be charged with USB port):

- Input : AC 110V - 240V 50/60Hz
- Output : DC 5V ± 0.20V DC 500mA ± 30mA
- A generic (non-OEM) 3-Pin USB travel home AC wall charger adaptor
- Build-in Smart IC chip can recognize a full battery and automatically switch to stand-by mode to protect your cell phone's battery from over charging

There was an "official" response on the german forum with regard to the specifications of the wall charger. It seems that you need at least 1000mA so the one you found above probably wouldn't work.

That's right. This one should work with the pocketbook.

Nontheless even with a 1000mA Charger you will have the impression it's not working, because the "Connect/Charge" dialogue will show up only for a few seconds and you will almost never see the lightning symbol instead of the battery indication, but one guy in the german forum tried it out and spent some time on measuring the currants, and he told me it is OK nd will do it's job
