Amazon Kindle Lookup without confirmation
Since kindle books already have ASIN identifers would it be possible that Calibre automatically downloads the metadata when the asin matches rather than confiriming each metadata individually?

User posted Metadata (on non-publishe sites. Heck, even some of those are inconsistantr) is questionable . You might get a ASIN match there, but ...

Metadata updates are something you do ONCE per book. Calibre will save a backup metadata.opf within the Library. just remember to backup your Libraryand the pain will only be once

Im referring to my kindle books which are bought and tracked to amazon desktop app using their asin so how could it possibly change from amazon's site when they use it themselves to track amazon orders?

So i have to press confirm each time because calibre checks title and author name which is not always accurate and overights mu unique asin code rather than looking up a unique tracking id and autopopulating the remaining 4000 books?

Use bulk metadata download and disable all metadata sources other than amazon. Then you only have to click once at thestart and once at the end. Although I recommend doing it in batches, otherwise the servers will ikely detect you as a bot and ban your IP.

All metadata download matches first by identifiers then if that fails by the rest of the metadata.
