light as in front light? or display black white flash?

does the power led blink and then stop blinking after a while?

in that case (light only, no black/white or any sign of life from eink screen itself, power led blinks fine) double check the display connector ... cause then it seems the device is booting but the display has no reaction

if you had wifi enabled you can also see if you can ping the kobo from any other device in your network during the boot process. after booting, wifi is only on for a few seconds until disabled for power saving purposes though (unless you used devmode and force wifi on)

make a backup of your sd card or use a new sd card instead of overwriting your original with generic image

Dear davidfor,

can you please send me image for Kobo Aura H20 too. I still waiting for your help.

Hi everyone, I hope i'm posting this in the right place.

My Kobo Aura H2O stucks on the sleep screen. I tried everything, finally opened it and disconnected the battery. That did nothing. Removing the SD card did nothing also. It still stucks on the sleep screen.

I have found the advice here to take out the SD card and request an "Aura H2O SD card image" so I hope someone can help me!

Sorry, apparently I made a mistake with the link. What I ask is that image requests for each ereader model are made in one thread. That helps me track what I have responded to. I'll usually respond when a request is made elsewhere, but, I'm trying to prevent having multiple threads running. I tried to kill this thread, but, I messed up the link and linked back to this thread. So, my mistake and my apologies.

When your PMs are enabled, post again and I'll send the link.

Hi, Is this still active? I'd like a image for this to, mine got glitched after updating today!
I'ts stuck on "updating".. opened it up and disconnected battery.. stays the same. I figured the only thing left trying is replacing SD card..

Please do not post multiple requests for firmware images. If nothing else, it is annoying and it is prohibited by MobileRead's rules.
