New Kobo Clara HD firmware

Just a heads-up - last night my Kobo Clara HD updated to a new version of the firmware - 4.30.18838, dated 10/30/21, and when I connected it via USB to Calibre I got the new firmware warning so I had to select the override in device settings. So far I've only copied a couple of ebooks over to my Kobo with the new firmware, but that worked with no problems.

Please read the following thread on this firmware update. It's been known about since November 1.

There's no need to keep this thread going.

For the record, the warning message includes a suggestion to look in the Kobo forum for any information about the new firmware version. There has been discussion on this firmware there since it turned up, including a post about the calibre status.
