How do I replace a book?
So, I saved a book to epub format and unzipped it so that I could edit and clean it up. Now I want to bring it back into the library.
I know that I could delete the original book listing and then re-import the cleaned book. I would rather just re-import the revised book into the existing library entry. Is there a way to do this? Thanks |

Select the option to edit the metadata for the book. That dialog gives you the option to add (or remove) any specific format of the ebook file.

No need to do all of that. Easiest way to modify is the following:
Simply reopen the epub file and drop the edited files in them to overwrite the originals. Here is a quick walkthrough.
Now you decide how you want to go about it. You can Drag and Drop everything on a folder in your computer, then edit the files, then just drag them back into the zipped file. Voila. Epub file edited without having to import/delete or do anything with Calibre. Enjoy |
