Yes -
Either search this forum, or pull a copy from Debian repos.

which Debian repo?

there are long threads here on ssh but I've not found the one that mentions using -X on the kindle

ARMEL not armhf - HowTo extract the binary(ies) from a Debian package is indexed.

ask yourself: "What are options: -x, -X used for?" (or ask: man ssh) - -
then use those keywords in your search rather than a general "ssh" search.

okay searching for X11 forwarding found your response:

The link you found is for using X11 protocol directly on the network, without ssh x11 forwarding.

This subject (of ssh x11 forwarding) has been discussed at length on this forum more than once.
I do not have the link(s) you will have to look for the discussion.

You will also find information in the discussions of other things which use ssh port forwarding, such as VNC.
