A tiddlywiki as a waf extension for KindleTouch

TiddlyWiki is an offline personal wiki page.

In other words it is a good offline notepad for browser.

I tried some versions ( for example this one) on Touch replacing it with index.html of an extension with no success.

There is no problem when I tried to open the page and edit. However I couldn't save my notes.

Hence there are two problems for a tiddly-waf extension:
1- a good layout
2- the problem I mentioned above.

it seems that tiddlywiki has problems on android also. Hence an app is needed to run it on android.

But what about TiddlyWiki , and Android?
One of the main problems is to store the file. TiddlyWiki used for most browsers workarounds to get access to the file system using JavaScript.
Browser Workaround

• FireFox: JavaScript and PrivilegeManager
• Internet Explorer: ActiveX
• Chrome, Safari or Opera: Applet

The browser on Android does none of these workarounds.

The layout(theme) problem is solved with this version


There is a java (TiddlySaver.jar)in the zip file of this version to save changes on iphone . Maybe we should also have a similar javascript or sh file for Touch ?

When I try to save notes on chrome without allowing javascript to run on that page the same error appears:
