Hello all Calibre Users,

is there a posibility to create a user column containing the number of formats for a book. The number should be filled automatic.

Create a custom column built from other columns containing the template
Code:
{formats:'count($, ',')'}

Not as you asked the question as you cannot sort on format!

However you can create a search that will show just the pdf files by using
format:PDF
You could look for cases where a convert is outstanding by using something like
format:PDF and not format:epub

as the search term. Would this meet your requirements?

Found out that it is easy to create your own column to list the formats you have. Theres even a quick link template right in the column creation window! lol

So yes can sort on format - just in case anyone searches and finds this.
