No, it's because the MIME type on the web server isn't set correctly. Nothing to do with the browser.

Good for you. Over here, not the same books are free, but sometimes we get at least a discount.

@ carpetmojo, I also bought the Bookbale bundle, mainly to get Starplex by Robert J. Sawyer (to replace my MM paperback with the tiny font). I read on Sawyer's blog that this book is exclusive to the bundle and only for sale for a month. I hadn't seen it anywhere else as an ebook before.

It's worth noting that books 1-3 in that series are available as an omnibus. In the US, book one is free, the remaining books are $5.99, and the omnibus is $9.99.

Steelheart by Brandon Sanderson is $4.79 at Amazon US right now. Not an amazing deal but it usually goes for $7.99 I believe so its a bit of a discount.
