How to wirelessly connect to a PC?
I'm trying to connect my iLiad to my PC, using the wireless connection.
I configured the wireless connection in order to connect to ad-hoc networks, added a network named 'bu' and disabled WEP. Then on the iLiad I run wireless.sh start bu But it doesn't find the net. Why? |

What do you want to do with the connection? If it's just transfering files back and forth I use the built-in iLiad feature. You have to configure your pc like this:
http://www.irextechnologies.com/file...%20to%20PC.pdf And after that it should be pressing the big connection button on your iliad, selecting computer and then the iliad does the rest |

However, the procedure you described does not work. Network is detected but the iLiad can't connect. Have I to setup something about DHCP? How does the iLiad get an IP? |

you need to enable DHCP so it automatically recieves an IP adres. I don't think the iLiad can work with a fixed IP. I've got WPA set up and WEP disabled and have no problems connecting.

On the PC I already did this: Wifi connection -> Properties -> TCP/IP Properties -> DHCP enabled in IP settings Do I have to set something else? On the iLiad I did what was written on iRex's PDF. |

I meant you need to enable DHCP on your wireless router. Normally that's set default.

Ow sorry, then I misunderstood from the beginning. I just tried it but it doesn't work with me either (and it does work with wifi). I'm not familiar with connection my iLiad that way so I can't help you. I know it's possible -Thomas- did it:
