OB devices & using online press databases

My question:

Has anyone ever tried to use online press databases such as Library PressDisplay on OB Devices?

This is what the LPD looks like:

It is for newspaper reading.

You need to log in via your library membership card number or subscribe.

Are the OB devices much to slow for that?

What I would like to do is: log in, search and browse newspapers for what I want to know, then download article(s) as pdf on the reader, read and annotate article.

Can OB devices perform that task reasonably? I do not expect the performance of a good tablet. But it should be reasonably fast and stable.

I know using this database needs some computing power because even my desktop-PC is getting a bit slower using it.
