Twook - anyone can see your followed timeline?
Just install Twook, a twitter client, on my Nook from Nookdevs.
The problem is I can see only: - public tweet - my own tweet I can't see any tweets from the ones I follow. Anyone can confirm this? |

Hi, I'm the developer of the app. You should also be able to see replies. The Twook is about 3 days old I will add more functionality in the next week or so.
I confirm that's what it does for now, I plan to upload a newer version in the next few days with which you can see followers, following, direct messages, etc. Thanks for testing, any feedback is useful |

Hi,
Thanks a lot for creating such great potential app. Right now, I use Nookbrowser to display mobile twitter site. Hope it is getting better and better. I'm willing to test it for you. Btw, could I set it to display a bigger font in next release? |

You can also post requests for features here http://github.com/unchiujar/Twook/issues at the project's page. I have the functionality for displaying other info from twitter but I am trying to switch authentication from username/pass to OAuth. I might post something before doing that though so I can get some feedback on the interface since in the version I'm working on there are about 20 buttons on 3 rows with a specific task for each one. They're not hard to hit but that might be a bit much to display all at once. |

unstable version
Hi, there's an updated version for download. It's still work in progress very much but should give a feel on how it would like.
It has 3 rows of buttons which should have when all implemented the functionalities: row 1 - tweet, display various personal timelines, friends row 2 - public timeline, buttons with defined searches in settings row 3 - operations that can be done on individual tweets/users - follow/unfollow, favour, block etc |

slowness
Yes, the loading screens are annoying. As soon as I'm done with adding the functionality I'll probably switching to the doing the download in the backrogund and/or to using Twitter Streaming API.

Hi, version 0.0.6 is out http://github.com/unchiujar/Twook/downloads
I made some speed improvements let me know what you think. I might still need to add a progress bar or something but either way it should feel faster now. Let me know what you think |

Hi,
Thanks for improving Twook. I've installed and have problem which cannot be solved. I opened Tool screen where I can enter my Tweet account name and password. I can enter both, and press submit. Unfortunately I did not connect wireless during doing that; so I can go nowhere. I then go to Setting to have my wifi connected. When come back to Twook by choosing it from Nook Launcher, it displayed that same Tools screen immediately with my account name/password already filled in; however, the LCD screen is blacked out and I can't activate the LCD screen to display. I've tried touching the LCD panel several times with no avail! Now everytime I activate Twook, it always displayed the Tool screen and the LCD blackout. I can't go further because no LCD display for me to choose other command. Last edited by bthoven; 04-29-2010 at 08:15 AM. |

Fixed wireless
Sorry about the (really) late fix.
I fixed the problem in version 0.0.8 by having the application check the wireless before starting. Now it starts only if there is a network connection. http://github.com/downloads/unchiujar/Twook/ |
