Ready to Publish
Okaaaay, Im ready to go. Learned Sigil, done my stylesheet, loaded my book, re-drawed diagrams in svg, checked for spelling, triple proofread,
So, I think Ill try it on Kobo. Kindle maybe later. Have I forgotten anything? Any suggestions what to do next? Link to a useful article maybe? Thanks |

Did you check the ePub with epubcheck 4.0.2? That checks for any technical errors.

Can epubcheck 4.0.2 be hooked into Sigil somehow?

In the plugins for Sigil forum section is a plugin to use epubcheck.

Why would you wait on Kindle? It's the gold standard. Three-quarters of your sales will come from there, in all likelihood.

If the OP's book is not in English, I would be very surprised!

I sold a conventional book after signing up to the 'Amazon Advantage' program. However, it involved a hefty annual fee, so I canned it after several years. Does Kindle allow an author to upload his E-book without incurring fees, yet retaining the exposure that Amazon offers?
